How the Zoetrope Works: The artwork is printed in sequential frames around the vinyl. As the record spins, the frames move too fast for the naked eye to see the animation. When viewed through a phone camera or under strobe light, the frame rate syncs with the rotation speed, revealing a smooth looping animation. In normal light you see a spinning design.
